September is a perfect time to sign up your child at Boys & Girls Club
By Boys & Girls Club Staff
Every day after school, youth in communities across King County have a safe, positive place to go, a place they feel welcome and feel a sense of belonging – their local Boys & Girls Club.
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue give youth a place where they can have fun, get a hot meal, be creative, be a part of a team, get help with homework, or just hang out with friends.
With 27 full-service clubs and 28 before- and after-school program and child care sites, the clubs reach 40,000 youth annually. Each Boys & Girls Club location serves children 5 to 18 years old. The Bellevue Main Club and the Kirkland site also have preschool programs for kids 3 to 5 years old. The generosity of club supporters keeps membership fees at a nominal cost and scholarships also are available to those who qualify.
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue provide an environment for all children and teenagers where they can realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Our trained and nurturing staff offers encouragement and support to youth while promoting learning activities and cultivating self-esteem. We strive to create happy childhoods and provide lessons in academic success, good character and citizenship, as well as healthy lifestyles. There is no better time than the present to sign your children up at a local club.
